Controller's Information Obligation
Informing Data Subjects about the Processing
and Provision of Personal Data in Processing Operations
pursuant to Article 13 and Article 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation)
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, establishes the obligation of the controller to provide the data subject with information on the purpose of processing for which their personal data are intended, even when the personal data are not obtained directly from the data subject. It is necessary that this information is provided to the data subject no later than when their personal data are obtained, or in sufficient time beforehand, clearly and comprehensibly, and in such a way that they can genuinely acquaint themselves with and understand this information.
